Once again, not going for fast times and just sticking with my training plan. So really pleased to complete it in 8 hours and come out 75th.
This was a hard challenge to complete and only 61 people managed to reach the target of riding at least 815.86 miles from 18.03.2018 to 22.04.2018.
In doing so i climbed 45,992 feet, which isn’t too shabby for a distance only challenge.
Just completed “National Champion” level on Rouvy:
So i’m now at “World Class” level and Rouvy have been given me even more hard riding to complete — exactly what one needs to grow young.
Now i’ve got to complete 6 challenges and amass 10,000 career points. This is going to take a while as there’s only 4 challenges currently listed and the 4th is in July so i’m looking at August to finish this level at the very earliest.
But all good stuff. Rouvy is certainly far more challenging than Zwift.
After the ‘TrainingPeaks 70.3 Challenge’ on Rouvy, this was quite the stuff for recovery days, so no, i really didn’t try much which is reflected in my 92nd place.
But hey, done is done, and it’s another challenge in the bag towards my next rung on the Rouvy Career ladder — there was nothing said in the challenge that people couldn’t take it easy.
This challenge was to ride both “Challenge Kraichgau” and “Challenge Roth” in race mode. Each route on its own is quite the test, putting the 2 into one challenge is a little mentally twisted — but hey, that’s what challenges are for.
Just completed “Professional” level on Rouvy:
So i’m now at “National Champion” level and for my sins have been given a bucket load of hard riding to complete — awesome stuff.
This new level is definitely going to take a bit more time to complete as on top of completing 2 rather long hard routes in “race” mode, i have to finish 4 challenges and there’s currently only 2 in existence, 1 of which is just about to finish and 1 just about to start, with no hint of when the next 2 will begin or what they’ll require to complete. On top of that i have to collect 4500 Rouvy points which is a lot of riding in itself.
But it’s all great stuff and gets me fitter.
This challenge was to ride at least 30 miles during one training session, with the total mileage from that one session being what counts on the challenge leader board. I did this riding Rouvy’s “Menador” route.
This challenge was to climb at least 5000 meters from 05.02.2018 to 25.02.2018 with the total meters climbed counting on the leader board…
…11,232 meters climbed for 46th place.
